GET EXCITED FOR RYLA!
September 21st-24th 2022 at Aspen Grove up beautiful Provo Canyon, Utah
What is RYLA? RYLA stands for Rotary Youth Leadership Award. Participants are selected by a local Rotary Club to attend an all expense paid 3-day leadership conference designed to build character, teamwork, leadership and personal development. The “Award” part of RYLA is the actual scholarship the Rotary Club provides so that a participant may attend camp. Participants have life-changing experiences at RYLA Camp, and YOU could be one of those people! To be selected to attend RYLA, you must contact your local Rotary club (email us if you don't know your local Rotary club). Rotary District 5420 has hosted Utah RYLA for more than 1,500 students since 2001. At Aspen Grove up Provo Canyon, Utah, RYLA has trained young leaders through fun outdoor activities (such as a high/low ropes course), hands-on workshops, and a variety of presentations by world renowned speakers. RYLA stresses the fundamentals and ethics of good leadership, problem solving, group building, and the importance of positive self-confidence and self-esteem. To advance leadership skills, one must put themselves in situations that will train them to be a better leader. Through RYLA, specific programs and activities have been carefully chosen to do just that. In addition to the leadership activities, we have a TON of fun. Who is eligible?
