Utah Rotary Youth - Facilitators & Alumni Volunteers

Help instill leadership skills in the next generation of Rotarians-- become part of the RYLA team! We'll be working with high school sophomores & juniors (male & female) in an exciting, fun atmosphere. Here's more:

Facilitators don't have to be Rotarians (but they'll want to become Rotarians after RYLA!).
Facilitators must be 21 or older.
We'll train you! There is a two-part training: the first part is online prior to RYLA, and the second part is on the Wednesday night that RYLA starts.
There is no cost to serve as a facilitator, but you'll need to get yourself to and from conference.
Facilitators must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Facilitators must submit a personal medical history.
Facilitators must be able to stay for the whole duration of RYLA, and participate fully in all sessions and activities as appropriate.

Our Alumni Volunteers are a select group of leaders who play an incredibly important role in the conference. We are looking for qualified leaders who are willing to help make RYLA an enjoyable and life-changing experience. Here's more about what we need from an Alumni Volunteer:

Alumni must have attended RYLA previously as a participant OR be a current Rotaractor.
Alumni must attend and participate in preparatory meetings and planning (Exact dates and times TBD with consideration to schedules of chosen Alumni).
Alumni must attend the RYLA conference in its entirety.
If 18 or older, Alumni must pass a criminal background check.

Application Process

If you are completely willing and able to commit to being a part of the RYLA Alumni experience, here's how to apply:

Fill out your applicant information HERE.
E-mail the following 3 things to utahrylaalumni@gmail.com: A photo of yourself, a resume detailing your accomplishments and service/leadership experience, and a letter about why you would be a great asset. This is your turn to brag! Please also suggest a possible theme for RYLA.

Incomplete applications will NOT BE CONSIDERED.

Applications must be submitted by April 15^th.
